There are two that got released, 840 and 840 Pro. The regular one has TLC NAND and the Pro uses MLC. You can read up more about the differences here.

Is the Samsung "desktop kit" for SSD worth the money? In my country there are like 20/30€ between the SSD 830 alone and the SSD 830 "desktop kit".

I got a crucial m4 64gb I was thinking that if it would be a good option to use that old SSD as "SSD CACHE DRIVE" and a 240gb or 256gb as OS/apps, game drive?
