Reliability will go way up that is for sure. Your speeds should be faster all around as well. (slightly noticeable if you have a normal routine you are used to)

Thanks a lot man, You rocks!

I returned the Mushkin already to newegg, they kinda made me an exception and accepted the SSD And of course it was getting slower or i dont know if it was just my mind after i read a lot of forum about Mushkin SSD, But now im waiting for a nice kind of special to grab the 128 GB Samsung 830.

I've been reading a lot about each one, Crucial M4, Corsair Force, Plextor, Samsung 830, and as you said, all of those are great... but i find myself more confident with the Samsung on the SSD although they were not that good back on HDD.

I will let you know as soon as i get my Samsung 830 and post some pics. Thanks again for the Advise Sean, for people like you is that i love this forum... No homo.

I have to agree with you, WD on warranty services Rocks, i just returned a External HDD - passport Book, They didnt even flinch to replace it, i placed the RMA, they received the HDD and send me a new one. (i had it for almost a year already the HDD )

- Once they get into SSD field, pretty sure they will do great.

It's been fixed and thanks for the advice. Man who knew SSD takes extreme steps before installing and after to get it to work! Oh boy. I'll have to be prepared this fall when i go for more than 120gb. I have been wanting one so bad.thumb.gif

Also what do you think is the best SSD to date to buy at a affordable price? I want more performance and space. As much i like Intel a lot but i want to know if there are any other brands that stand out than the rest for a good decent price without denting the wallet since i have vacation time coming up. Been meaning to consider upgrading my parts one by one or wait til FALL.

Not really, I don't do anything different than I would with a HDD with my SSD.

If you want to know how I rank these drives one vs another overall based on performance, product support, etc. here you go:

64GB:
  1. Plextor M3 Pro
  2. Plextor M3 = Samsung 830 = Crucial M4 = OCZ Vertex 4
  3. Intel 520 > Intel 330

128GB:
  1. Corsair Performance Pro = Plextor M3 Pro = OCZ Vertex 4
  2. Plextor M3 = Crucial M4 = Samsung 830
  3. Intel 520 > Intel 330

256GB:
  1. Corsair Performance Pro = Plextor M3 Pro = Plextor M3 = OCZ Vertex 4
  2. Intel 520 = Samsung 830
  3. Crucial M4

512GB:
  1. Intel 520 = Plextor M3 Pro = OCZ Vertex 4
  2. Plextor M3 = Samsung 830 = Crucial M4

Any suggestions non-SandForce based? biggrin.gif
