Grab some old/cheap fans and cut everything out.

I found some crappy Antec Tri-Cool fans in my closet. I chopped out the fan parts and then I had some shrouds.

To play a bit of devil's advocate here:

After you've put 2x Ultra Kazes with shrouds on that H80, the thing is basically the same size as a D14 or Silver Arrow, and with similar performance. Except it's more expensive and more than twice as loud with those Ultra Kazes. So what's the benefit of doing this versus just getting a high end air cooler that performs similarly but is much quieter?

None of that weight is on the motherboard.

Or don't put shrouds on it, and get some gentle typhoons like me! tongue.gif Loving how well the H80 rated.

The case breaking from the rads weight is about as likely as the motherboard breaking from the coolers weight.

Not going to happen.

So the shroud shown is just a spacer, and other than the 120mm hole and the four appropriately placed mounting holes, has no functional design? In other words, these could easily be made out of wood if one were so inclined.
... yes, any material that can be molded/cut/formed into a shroud can be used as a shroud. all it is is a expansion/directional chamber for your air flow into the rad.

What are you smoking, by kuhler 620 out performs any air cooler out there and then some.
