When you are happy with your case - Page 4

When its beautiful, practical, easy to use and have good air flow. Like mine ^^
post #32 of 54
I love my HAF 922, so heavy, so much space, so many places to put fans thumb.gif, love the airflow, BUT it gets so damn dusty, but yeah, this is the one thing i won't change in my system for a long while.

I designed and made my own case. Seeing that I view my efforts as a success, I don't see why I wouldn't be happy with my case.

Personally, The main fact that people would not be happy with there pc case could be how there cable management was done. I will always find better ways to run cables in a case as i build other peoples computers. My 400R i believe will be my best case and i will be happy with it until i find a better way to do things. Everyone has there little problems with there build.

I honestly despise my RV03.

It does its just very well, I just do not like the look of it anymore. Especially the inside.

Also, the two 180mm fans are not lined up, but staggered, making it impossible to do a dual 180mm rad on the bottom if I wanted to watercool.

Just, not the case I was hoping for in my first build. I should have gone with the 650D.

I learned to settle with what I have now(I shoved it in the corner so I don't stare at it and see all it's flaws). My next case though will probably be something really clean and made with brushed al like the a05n or the pc-8n with now side window and sound deadening material all along the inside with really quiet fans like noctuas.

Cases I've owned in the past 3 months:
800D
HAF X
Sugo SG05
PC-V351
NZXT Phantom
Fractal Arc Mini
Antec P280 (current)

How do you like the p280?

CM 690 II can, just unscrew the lower part of the HDD cage and you are good to go. It only fits a slim 240 up top though, something like an RS240 or an MCR220. I have the RX240 in the bottom and there is loads of space, the only downside so far is that I only have 2 3.5" HDD bays, and 3 HDDs...

I like my case now that I have replaced the power and HDD LEDs with blue ones, cut some holes in a mesh 5.25" cover for my temperature sensors and sleeved all the front panel connectors. Oh, and I also put in a relay to control both the temp sensors' back lights (5V) and the front fan's LED (12V) from the same switch.

I'm very happy with my NZXT M59. How do I know I'm happy? I dropped my rig off the back of a truck after a 400 mile relocation. Actually buckled the steel, it hit the asphalt so hard. Every single component in the case was fine though. I took a hammer and straightened the frame/chassis back out, and voila! Aside from a trashed paint job it is still going strong. Incredible considering I paid $60 for the case a year ago and NZXT has been great about service. I don't think I'll ever buy a case from another manufacturer.
