Sorry, I was merely thinking of the common Motherboard with the same/similar BIOS when I made this thread. It's not that I dislike the 890 chipset, but they have alot of differences, where the three listed have very little difference, and are mostly heatsink/a few things missing.

my phenom x4 955 is currently OC'ed to 3.6GHz at vcore 1.35v. it's possible to go up to 4.0GHz stable with vcore 1.4v. but im more favourable towards to power savings than performance boost which won't be that significant in day-to-day usage.
RAM: 16GB 1600Mhz, Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD6850 Toxic Edition 1GB, PSU: Seasonic S12ii 620W.

Alrighty, thanx for joining. I'll update ASAP. Feel free to ask any questions or try and help others with problems.

Hmm, this is wierd. The blank screen on start sounds like a CMOS issue. And, it not keeping settings tells me that the Battery may not be any good, If you have a spare, try swapping it out. If not and you plan on buying a new one, make sure to use a Rechargable battery. Sorry to hear that your selling the setup.

Really, thats not a bad setup, just not compatible with the new FX processors. Maybe upgrade the video card and get a BE Phenom II. I think the biggest bottleneck is yur 9800GTX, since it is a DX10 video card at best. A GTX 460 would be a great upgrade for you. Also, if I'm not mistaken, you can order the parts that are different from the high-end HAF case from some website, (not sure which, but I read about it the other day).

As for the fellow members, barring a total melt-down of time, I have been dabbling with Google Sketchup, and I may try to recreate the motherboard in it to add to the fun of this thread. My current Project is a Sketchup of my Case, Which is the NZXT Guardian 921RB. My biggest slow-down on these projects is I'm particular to detail, and am measuring every little piece, making it a EXACT replica. Will do the same for our motherboards. biggrin.gif

oh and as old as the9800gtx+ is, it still runs everything quite well, on fps i know is an average of 50some in dirt2 with a high inthe 60's

i should run more benchmarks...i get a 5.9 onthe winidws optimizing test bc of my hddbotherwise id have a 7.2...

yeah, other than the 5.9 for my HDD, My lowest score is a 7.4, and that is on the Processor and RAM. The GTX 460 isn't much better than the 9800GTX, just supports Tessalation and PhysX better. Looking it up I see it has the eact same core clock and Texture fill rate. The Memory on it is it's downfall.

Don't mean to thread intrude but the 1GB GTX460 should stomp a 9800GTX since it's better than my GTX275 which does beat a 9800GTX.
Here it is beating a GTX280: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/317?vs=313

I won't lie, with Ungine Heaven v2.1, Max Graphics (Everything maxed including DX11 enabled) with stock settings I got a 511. Probably should run a max test now that my GTX 460 is OCed 45%. Anyways, lets get back on topic here.
