No major publisher is going to put out an AO game, even on PC. It will be rated M. I think we all could have guessed at this though, why would they try and make the game substantially different than the show? Remember that movie Cool World? The execs came in and tried to make it more of a family/kids movie, I guess because it had an animated component, which really clashed with the adult theme. So what could have a been a great movie ended up a mediocre one.
Most the time that executives try and substantially change a creative work to fit in with marketing numbers you end up with a weak product that is unsuccessful. The execs need to decide what they want when green-lighting a project and stay out of the creative end as much as possible afterwards.
