Teamviewer is horrendously slow. We have tried it. It goes at about 40kbps

I was looking at it but it seemed kinda sketchy and it looks like it is hosted out of the country so I am afraid of slow speeds. Also it annoys people to buy it when they are downloading and it caps their download speed and downloads per hour if they don't buy

If you are willing to pay, you can use a web hosting site.
I don't know any good hosts but you could find one on http://www.webhostingsearch.com/
If you get a web host I would also recommend uploading using FTP since it would let you upload really large files

It looks like that is related to just google products like Picasa and Gmail. I don't think there is a place to upload generic files to it.

Low. Microsoft only lets you have 1Gb files I think.

You could download utorrent, make a torrent file, upload it to a tracker, and then have your friend download it using a BT client. That would allow it to only be limited by the speed of the slowest connection (yours or his). thumb.gif

Nothing sketchy about that site its the best and fastest filehost i know of. I usually get up to my max download speed when downloading from rapidshare.
But indeed you can as a free member only download a limited number and 1 file at a time.

Megaupload is also a nice filehost. Free members can download as many as they want but only the speed gets limited. (I think tongue.gif)
