I am wondering i need more usb ports for the following

CH Joystick,rudder peddles and throttle, also the Thrustmaster MFD. would i be better off getting usb powered hub. Will that hurt my computer ?

Getting a powered USB hub will not hurt your computer and i recommend you get one for all the devices you plan on plunging in. This one should be exactly what you are looking for: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182056
