How are you guys inding the GTX560 448 Cores? Are they good compared to a regular GTX 560ti / 570??

Well I had a regular 560Ti for a bit, and as far as performance goes, that card gave me a good gameplay experience when it was overclocked pretty high. I judged it's performance in BF3 mostly because I play that game a lot, I kept wishing that I didn't have to run it at full tilt to be satisfied with it.

Anyhow, that card was pretty fragile and ended up artifacting at default speeds after a bit. If you run your card at over 1.100v since the moment you take it out of the box, you are harming it, and I don't care who says what, nothing is going to change my mind about that.

Before I RMA'd that card I had already started looking for a replacement. I really liked the Asus 560ti 448 but that thing costs more than a 570. After researching pcb photos and digging for technical information that goes beyond the looks of the gpu cooler, I decided on this card. I figured since it had a 6 phase power delivery system on it vs. the 570's 4 phase, it could overclock further, and be a faster card for less money.

I know I'm typing a lot of words out here but I really like this card. It gave me the extra power that I was missing in the regular 560Ti, and at the overclocked speeds I'm running right now, I'm well beyond

I guess I should have posted my thread here haha since there isn't much interest over in the benchmark forum

http://www.overclock.net/t/1180037/3dmark11-p-test-evga-560-ti-448-core-classified-i5-2500k-4-2ghz

I'm on phone now but I'll copy paste my benchmarks from that thread over here. Haven't messed with lower voltage yet. Those back plates look awesome.

I'll dig up my unlocked 6950 TFIII pe/OC and reference 570 benches too to compare.

*edit* From my other thread for the lazy =)

I have a final later today so I just did three runs. 4.2Ghz OC i5-2500k on all runs.

Stock, and a 900 core and 950 core.

I forgot to save the stock sorry it was P60xx

Then at 900/2700/1.1v got P6673
302

At 950/2200/1.1v got a P6950
361

Included a couple of screens to compare the graphics score. Will do more later tonight.

If anyone has bench requests let me know. I'll try to help.

At 900 core mhz , 1.112v and default fan profile the card gets up to 67°C when running OC Scanner for 5 min (23°C room temp) and the best thing is you barely hear it.
I swapped to 560-448 from a 6950 unlocked shaders and it was getting around 95°C and was loud as hell.. so I am pretty happy with twin frozr so far.
But really would love low vcore like you guys have, thats bothering me.
Looking nice man redface.gifthumb.gif
I might swap my card for an evga classified so far I am pretty impressed by the clocks you two achieved.

Dont worry not all of them are that great. I sent mine back, stock voltage was 1.038 and it would barely hit 880 core at 1.1v. I would say stay with your TF3.

So... you RMA'd a card because it didn't overclock as high as you'd hoped thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Hmm well with aznguyen there is another evga user that achieved a nice clock biggrin.gif

Yeah, last I checked it was my money and I gladly paid the restocking fee to get something else. BTW you might wanna check your gpu score in your 3d11 link, its pretty low for the clocks you got considering aznguyen316's gpu score is 1100 points higher for the same clocks.

What was the default voltage on your card?

I bought this video card to play games with, clock speeds and benchmarks aren't as important to me as they are to some people.

Im not saying they are important but its pretty clear that your card isnt performing optimally when someone elses cards at the same speed gets a much higher score. You might wanna add some voltage to it and I bet your score would shoot up.
