Thank you, I see you have 2... I've been considering a 2nd since they are going in and out of stock lately, I'd like to have a matched pair, if anything.

I will be doing a 'franken water cooler' on this. I have 2 Swiftech MCW80 blocks and just picked up a Swiftech GTX480-HS aluminum heatsink that pairs with it. It won't be as pretty as a full water block but it should work very well. I know the MCW80 cools the core extremely well, I used to run a pair of Radeon HD 5850s with them.

for your sake i hope so too. It was great bang for the buck while it lasted. I would have gotten another one if the new nvidia card wouldn't be so close to release time.

That and it's time for the EIT exam for me so the fewer distractions the better wink.gif

As Nvidia said, these things are a limited edition model, buy now, or spend weeks fretting, complaining and generally making her life annoying in a few months when the money is there, and the cards aren't... at which point you'll just have to go buy a new $900 GTX690, right?

I will try that logic out on her later and let you guys know if I get a card, sleep in the bed and get no card, or end up on the couch.

Ahh.. hrm.. logic... unless you're a good whiner, and she knows it, it may not work, a trade for a new dress or 3 and something extra special for the next birthday/anniversary/favourite pet may well swing it.
The other option is: I could buy this card now, or I could spend an evening a week down at the local bar instead.. drowning my sorrows. You DO like to know where I am and what I'm up to.. right???

Thats a thought but I did take 90% of the income tax return for the new desktop and car parts. Also I don't drink so she would call BS on that one. Maybe threaten to go to the local pizza place and drown my sorrows in pepperoni.

Hello all,

This is my first time visiting the gpu section of this site and I was hoping for a bit of guidance on overclocking my two 560ti 448 cores.

I have two of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125406

The defaults based on msi afterburner are

Voltage = .988
Clock = 732
Shader = 1464
Memory = 1900

I was reading many of the first few sections of this forum but there is just so many sections I couldn't justify reading all 160 to try and find my answer.

I started oc'ing these to get the most out of skyrim, bf3, ac revelations and some other games (and also increase the nvidia 3d settings like ambient occlusion, clamp, etc etc. I want things to look as real as possible.)

I started with an oc of 800 using 1.00 volts and only an increase to 1950 memory. This seems fine but of course like most of you i wanted to keep going.

I seem to get some screen tearing and or hard locking when playing skyrim at the next two configurations. How much higher would you go with the voltage on each to make them stable? My temps have only gone to about 67c on the top card (60 on the bottom)

oc # 1
Voltage = 1.025
Clock = 850
Shader = 1700
Memory = 2000

oc #2
Voltage = 1.038
Clock = 900
Shader = 1800
Memory = 2050

How high could my memory potentially go? I simply bumped this up 50 more for each oc? Whats an optimal memory for 850 and 900 clock speeds?

Fore the voltages - should I simply go up one more notch and continue to use the card, if stable save, if unstable bump it up again.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
My System

Hey Guys, help me decide what Model to go for

Gonna run Single Card to replace my GTX 275, mulling the idea around righ tnow, may wait till a while after keplar is out, but this is the level of card i would like,

Any Good reccomendations out there?

Must be less than 300 =)

I liek the idea of this Gigabyte
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125406

price wise and the Game and the Cooling looks useful, but is it efficient? Im very used to the Fan Sux in Air at one end of card, and exchausts out the back of the Case - with this, it doesnt look like the expelled heat goes anywhere but up into the where I dont want the heat to be lol
