I think a 700 watt psu will be enough, if you go any higher, itll just be to on the extreme safe side. On most review sites, they reported MAX power consumption as around 250 for one card. 250/12v = ~21 amps per card. So MAX power consumption for 2 cards would be ~42 amps . Average power consumption is ~190watts load. 190/12v= ~16 amps average power consumption per card. SLI'ed, both cards would consume around 32 amps of power.
So, on paper at least, any psu with 55+ amps on the 12v rails would be very sufficient for sli'ed 448s plus a moderate power consumption cpu, suck as a stock 2500k, which consumes around ~140watts load, (140/12= ~11 amps on the 12 v rail) or ~200watts overclocked(200/12= ~17 amps)
So MAX amp on an overclocked system(cpu only) with SLI 448s = (21*2)+17~59 amps on the 12 v rails. If you have a 700 watt system that supplies a CONTINUOUS 55+amps on 12v rails, you should be fine as it would likely be able to go over the rated ampage for short periods(considering you have a quality psu)
