i just got the Gainward 560 TI 448 my stock voltage is 0.988 stock core was 732 i haven't changed my voltage but my core clock is now 842 MHz i checked with evga oc scanner and it had no errors after 20 minutes and sat at 72.c with auto fan in my opinion great card biggrin.gif

I think a 700 watt psu will be enough, if you go any higher, itll just be to on the extreme safe side. On most review sites, they reported MAX power consumption as around 250 for one card. 250/12v = ~21 amps per card. So MAX power consumption for 2 cards would be ~42 amps . Average power consumption is ~190watts load. 190/12v= ~16 amps average power consumption per card. SLI'ed, both cards would consume around 32 amps of power.

So, on paper at least, any psu with 55+ amps on the 12v rails would be very sufficient for sli'ed 448s plus a moderate power consumption cpu, suck as a stock 2500k, which consumes around ~140watts load, (140/12= ~11 amps on the 12 v rail) or ~200watts overclocked(200/12= ~17 amps)

So MAX amp on an overclocked system(cpu only) with SLI 448s = (21*2)+17~59 amps on the 12 v rails. If you have a 700 watt system that supplies a CONTINUOUS 55+amps on 12v rails, you should be fine as it would likely be able to go over the rated ampage for short periods(considering you have a quality psu)

Average amp on an overclocked system(cpu only) with SLI'ed 448s = (16*2)+17=49 amps on 12v rails

So IMOHP, any quality 700 watt psu should do the trick.

Just got a Palit card installed and using MSI Afterburner and several instances of rthdrbl on the default voltage of 1000mV, I can manage 810core and 2150ram.

I've yet to read through much of the thread, but I assume this card is good for a bit more juice leading onto further clock increases.

I would but i would have to change the voltages and i don't want to damage my card i'm a noob when it comes to overclocking i have msi afterburner and iv unlocked the voltages i just am wary of changing that lol
