GTX 560 Ti 448 core OC Club - Page 227

hey guys, i just bought a palit gtx560 ti 448 cores and had a first try at overclocking.. i used MSI afterburner and 3D mark 11 for overclocking and testing respectively. i've tried a few times and some has been good and some just crashed the mark test. so, i've come up with a fairly stable oc and i'd like to ask for any comments. pardon me if i dont understand some terms u guys use, im still learning:o

I have the direct cu 2 Asus version of 448. Can I water cool it? I cannot find any Europe dealer that seals such things.

I'd check out http://www.aquatuning.de, they seem to have a few blocks for the 560 not sure if the asus one is reference but I'd check there

They don't seem to have the 560 448 core sadly. I guess I've to go with extremely good cooling fans :/

Welcome to OCN. Please fill out your rig specs in your community profile so we can see what you're working with. I'm curious to what cpu you're using because your 3dmark score looks way low if you're running two cards in sli.

The following is my specs as copied from 3D mark 11. I've actually resetted back to default settings and trying it out now. Because when i clock it to 850MHz, my graphics will sometimes just shut itself down for 5secs or more during my game and turn itself back on again. This is seen by a drop in my GPU usage to 0 all of a sudden. Do i need to increase my voltage if i want to clock it to 850MHz? thanks for helping!

huh, cards are not throttling down when idle. updating drivers. hope it helps. keeping system a little warm pegged at 950 all the time. anyone else have this issue?
