GTX 560 Ti 448 core OC Club - Page 250

Guys, need some help. I just got my two other 448s and at first I couldn't get the mb to detect the middle card. After swapping them to different positions, I can get all three to show up in the cp but I cannot sli all three. It only chooses two cards. I'm using ribbon cables due to the configuration. Thanks smile.gif

That is odd. Have you tried moving them to different positions.

If you have a card 'dedicated' to Physx in the driver settings, you cannot SLI that card.
Also, if you have a monitor plugged into a card, you cannot SLI that card. _ONLY_ the master card can have monitors plugged into it.

We figured it out. Unlike amd, Nvidia 3-way sli all cards have to be connected. So that means I need a 140mm long sli ribbon cable to connect the bottom card to the top one. I have a couple of them coming in so we'll see how it fairs. If this doesn't work out, I'm going back to amd as crossfire is super easy to setup. Crossfingers smile.gif

I did get a chance to bench one of the cards. I was able to hit 950 core @ 1050Mv. I tried 975 @ 1050 and 1113 and it crashed. I was hoping to crack 1ghz but maybe one of the other two will smile.gif. @ 835 with stock 963Mv voltage, it beats my old stock 6970 Lightning in 3dMarks11.

I made one for my first 560 448. Its a simple test with stepped overclcocks using 3dmarks11 to test stability. Nothing finite and specific, more general overclocks/steps. I'll post my results for you in a while smile.gif

835 barely passed with the stock voltage. It crashed a few times at 975 so looks like this one is not a 1ghz frown.gif. Maybe one of the other two will hit 1ghz. I'll be testing a bit more since I can't pair all three in sli at the moment (don't ask rolleyes.gif).

Btw, my cards come with a factory oc of 750mhz compared to the Nvidia reference specs of 732mhz and the cards are not Nvidia reference so ymmv smile.gif

edit: go your user profile and at the bottom click edit to enter your rig specs thumb.gif

You could always go higher with the Volts. Course that would be a Suicide Run most likely.
