GTX 560 Ti 448 core OC Club - Page 262

Weeeeeeeeee, got the Twin Frozr unpacked when I got home today. The card is SO sexy. Can't believe the build quality of the card compared to my reference EVGA one. So cool it comes with socket protectors as well. I left most of them on since they won't be used.

I know with my eVGA 448 core the default voltage varied per card. I think stock on it was 1.038v. Well on my MSI 448 core default idle voltage is .912v and load default voltage is only 1v. drool.gif

I am currently stress testing it with OC Scanner. 825mhz on stock voltage is a go. 850mhz is stable. Testing 875mhz now. Going to run Unigine as a 2nd tester once I start artifacting in OC Scanner.

btw as far as OC Scanner goes are the default settings alright for stress testing? I enabled stop after 15 minutes which I would assume is more than enough time to find artifacts.

I'm a total noob at OC'ing thanks for the help...

Cool, Best bet is to leave the memory alone and shoot for the highest core clock you can reach while staying under ~ 78 c. Once you get to your highest core clock, then add memory until you are unstable or reach your goal. All of these cards OC differently. Try to shoot for something in the 9xx range, but anything over 850 core is a good oc. Good luck and have fun. thumb.gif

Nice work. 960 is a great number. It is amazing what these things can do. thumb.gif

Is 61 c a ok temp for the 560?
That is what the AUTO fan setting limits it at...
or at least it never goes over 61c
Normal op temp is 44c
I can set the fans to manual and keep it to 55c while
playing battlefield.. but the 3 fans do whine quite
a bit over 2900 rpm
Thanks Dwight in New Orleans

I have a couple questions...

I don't see a shader clock on my msi afterburner....

Is your voltage fixed?

Thanks Dwight

Is it safe to buy an used one? like: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GIGABYTE-GV-N560448-13I-GeForce-GTX-560-Ti-448-Cores-Windforce-/300788727056?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item460867bd10

Is it safe? That is entirely up to you. Personally I wouldn't trust used hardware on ebay. But there are a lot of people that get stuff with no issues.

The guy has good feedback and lots of it.. he probably just upgraded....
You can test it by it'self before running them together..
I think his price is a little high..
