Try 2.2 beta here:

And make sure you unlock "voltage control" in the options/settings. thumb.gif

I have the EVGA Classified card. I put my frequency settings to 900/1800/2270 @ 1.1v. I ran OC scanner for 1 hour with zero artifacts. Temperatures hit 72c with 82% fan speed (very loud). Are my temperatures okay? What about the voltage? Can I increase anymore? Are there other tests I should run? I have my fan profile as a y = x line where y(30) = 40. In other words, from 0 to 30c, fan speed = 40%. From 30c to 90c, the fan speed increases linearly with temperature (40% @ 50c, 50% @ 60c, 60% @ 70c, etc).

My persona fan settings:

40C - 51%
50C - 62%
60C - 73%
70C - 84%
80C - 95%
90C - 100%

As for over clocking a good 24/7 over clock would be 15% Core / Shader and 5% Memory. (I've had mine since February 24/7). I think you have your Memory OC too high. Memory shows little gains in performance with greater temps and less stability. You'd probably get higher Core / Shader over clocks by lowering Memory and see greater gains in performance with less heat.

You might also want to bring down your voltage to stock and try this OC bump first. If it's stable then your temps will go down even further. Voltage also plays a role in GPU temps.

With same 5% Memory over clock I hit 950Mhz Core / 1900Mhz Shader for my highest bench. Just some food for thought. Good luck.biggrin.gif

That seems like quite a high voltage for 900Mhz, did you test that speed at lower voltages first or just crank it up to 1.10v? What is your stock voltage? Your temps are well within range, but you may be making it hotter than it needs to be with that amount of voltage for that core speed. Most people I've seen here are running @900Mhz with anything from their stock voltage (around 1.00V) up to me with1.088v. fan profile sounds fine, but that's of less significance to the oc and more of a personal preference. The cards downclock themselves when they get around 95C if I'm not mistaken. Best way to test the oc is to play some new games, BF3 is a great way to test. Also 3dmark11 is another good test/benchmark.

Edit: oops ninjad, and didn't notice the memory oc. Listen to Arizonian, he knows his stuff!

My stock voltage was 1.038. I tried to run 900/1800/2270 at 1.038 and got a lot of artifacts in OC scanner. I saw some review a website did that did 900/1800/2270 @ 1.1v, so I just followed suit. What should I start by doing? Lowering voltage from 1.1v down until I get artifacts in OC scanner? Bring memory clock back down to 5% increase?

Well all GPU's over clocking capabilities are different, so it might be for an OC yours might need 1.1000mV. I'd start by lowering Memory to 5% OC first. I'm not sure what the exact number is for that since I don't have a 448. Through GPU-Z you can tell how much of an OC you have by the 'validation' tab. You'll end up at a graph when you click the link. Then check your temps. It might be all you can do. Start there and see what kind of benchmark you end up between that and the lower memory setting.

You may notice temps will drop a bit too but not much if any FPS difference. Good place to start.

Is GPU-Z reading that voltage while not stressing the card or putting it under load? For instance my "idle" voltage drops, until I put the GPU under some sort of load, where it will load up the selected voltage.

im not really liking the heatsink on the MSI. it looks nice and all but it doesnt seem to be pushing a lot of air through the fins.

the fans doesnt see focused enough.

maybe i can get some low profile case fans for it later and see how it does.
