GTX 560 Ti 448 core OC Club - Page 4

Just ordered the MSI Twin Frozr III 448 core GPU and will use this mostly for folding but gaming and other things are in the mix too you know.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127615

Of course I'll try it out once it's here and post up these results. As for PPD with it, that's something I'll be finding out soon enough. My Zotac 550's are good cards but simply not enough to get the PPD I really need from a GPU but this one should be OK.

I've been pleased with the PPD production my Classy's have been giving me so far:

Folding-1.jpg

That was right after I fired them up for the first time to get their feet wet. They've either been folding or gaming 24/7 since they've been outta the box. thumb.gif

Looks way better than the 8500 or so PPD my 550ti can do. thumb.gif

Sometimes I've seen it go as high as 8700 but the norm is usually around the 8500 mark. I actually have two of these cards (Zotac 550ti Amp!) for SLI and while they are great for what I use them for, I need more in terms of PPD - I know you can understand that.

Well my psu does have a 8 PIN but unfortunately i don't have a extender custom sleeve for it. I'll have to order one cuz i like my case clean. Looks like i'll have to suffer one cable lol. Lame.

Does anyone know what is the proper driver to install for the GTX 560Ti Classified?

The current WHQL ok? I did read listings at Geforce website and it does show GTX 560Ti but i can't tell if it'll support Classified? lol. Gonna have to find out eventually!

I'm using the 290.36 drivers and they work good.

Same here and using the beta drivers. Working great. No idea when the WHQL would be out. I really wished they included GTX 500 series sticker cuz i feel funny having a GTX 400 Series sticker on my case. I wonder if i should peel it off lmao.

BTW sign me up i am part of the club. I will post pics and validation tomorrow. Thanks.

at work at the moment, but will post pics and benches when i get home and can upload. But I was super eager to come on and share my experience thus far. Just got my 2 msi gtx 560 ti 448 twin frozr III's in last night. rebuilt comp, loaded drivers and got to benching. out of th ebox they smoke my old gtx 460 sli setup. Woke up this morning and ran a heaven benchmark while getting ready for work and same performance as last night ....opened msi and pushed core clock to 850 with no other adjustments ran same bench...91 fps avg for a score of 2300+ if I recall correctly.

Cannot wait to get home today and begin serious tweaking. these things look VERY promising

You got some awesome cards!.. be sure to come back and tell us how your overclocking goes, what you default voltages were and what voltage you're using for your overclock, etc..
I sure will. I almost called off today just to get some alone time with them :-) I bought an msi hawk 460 and I am a true blue msi fan now. I love the looks, the cooler, the power regulation, MSI knows how to do cards.

I'm seriously hoping to get this thing up to 1ghz if possible. I'll post full system specs later today as well. Had to upgrade my psu, did not want to risk these puppies on 750w alone.

Awesome cards guys....

Can one of you with two run them at 901/1802/2100 in 3DMark11? I'd like to see how they perform clock for clock against 470s, because you guys are hitting clocks I can't regularly do even with water while you're on air smile.gif
