GTX 560 Ti 448 core OC Club - Page 32

People who say they can max out bf3 with a SINGLE 448 with 60 fps are either:
1.lying
2. playing at low resolutions (lower than 1080p)
3. do not know what MAX out is (meaning they don't have AA on or Ambient occlusion on)
4. playing single player campaign and not multiplayer

When playing 64 player map, you really need a 500 series in SLI with minimum of 1.5vram to sustain that 60 fps at 1920x1080p

For a lot of us, it seems we do not play with with much AA on, or at all for that matter. It's a negligible difference in visual aesthetics for the cost of performance when playing BF3.

I only have one 448 EVGA Classified, running at 925/1850/2100 @ 1.038V with peaks no more than 65C using only Air cooling. Generally the temperature stays at 54C. And I have not even received my two new case fans yet, which should help with cooling it even more. Other than the AA I play at Ultra everything and max everything else, etc.
Even at 64 plus people I am still getting an average of at Least 60 FPS, but mostly it stays around 75 FPS.

I don't find that playing at these settings (in multiplayer) is any less enjoyable or anymore of an advantage/disadvantage than playing with a higher clock or higher AA.

If you are using multiple monitors then yes, I see your point.
As someone who only uses one monitor I prefer only having to deal with one card.
And this card has to be one of the most impressive cards I have ever bought when it comes to overclocking and performing like a champ when benchmarking or gaming.

Here's my BF3 settings.. @1080p. All Ultra FXAA High. HBAO on and i used to use 2xMSAA but now i use a FXAA injector that makes the game look amazing. Mine runs at 58fps constant i have it locked with DXtory at 58fps - No Vsync.

GPU is set 950/1900/4200 @1.075v or 900/1800/4200 @ 1.031v the extra 50mhz doesn't warrant the extra voltage so i keep it at 900.

System is using 8gigs ram and an I5 clocked at 4ghz. I never get slow downs and always play on 64man servers.

My BF3 ID is FunkyBuddaMan if you wish to add me smile.gif

Anyone SLIing these fellas?
I'm considering grabbing one and just have it collecting dust till I actually need it, since it's a superb card, but a limited edition.

If yes however;
Anyone had any microstuttering problems?
Dont think I would experience it tho, running a 2500k@4.8, and 16gb of 1600mhz ram. Hm.

under load it still caps at 1v. idles at .913v

all other monitoring system say its at 1v. like GPUZ and HWinfo says 1v. but msi 2.2.0 beta 10 says its at 1.05v...

I have my fan set to max 50% (silent profile) and my temps never go above 60c-62c.. Maybe its you're PC case? how many system fans?

Mine blows out fine. I can really feel the heat when under load but I assume that's normal. I have a micro atx board so my cpu heatsink nearly touches the gpu pcb. I put an extra side fan that blows towards the rear of the case and over the gpu and boy does that help. I'm sure the stock fans are not the best but I do think it does the job quite well. I would like to see if any after market one's would work better that way I can buy a couple as back ups.
