My screen ends up flickering green when running max voltage. I tried to make a run through 3DMark2011 at 1GHz core and no go at 1.100v. I thought I killed the card for about 10 minutes as the display just stopped receiving data from the video card but after letting it sit powered off for a few it came back on just fine.

However, 980MHz core and 1.088v worked just fine after I lowered the memory clock to 2050. I cranked out a P6931 in 3DMark 2011 with the highest Graphics Score (a 6877) I've seen for our cards so I'm pretty satisfied with that.

You must have procesor that slows your card down. My msi oc only to 935mhz gives the result 6860 in 3dmark11 with 2500k@4500.

I have an i5-2500k as well but could you explain a little more? I only just recently built this PC and its been at least 3 years since Ive last been seriously keeping up with the computer world. 6 or so since I built my last one. So any tips are always great.

I'm gonna be upping the OC on my i5 today so maybe I'll see some gains.

It was at 4.4GHz when I ran the bench but I just bumped it up to 4.7. Probably just gonna leave it there as the thing is so freakin fast as it is. I was really surprised by how big of a difference it made over my old Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz.

I'm not sure if anyone else has bothered looking in to it but from the reviews I've read the stock eVGA 580 classified gets 7k in 3dm11 and its pretty awesome we can creep in on that. Now I just wanna see someone put 3 of these together and do some benching...

Sandman, I did what you said.

But only increasing 10mhz and my temps where 35C idle, when I ran the stress test that you gave me. It goes to 98C after 20 minutes. (FurMark)

Have you made a custom fan profile yet? Those temps seem high, but I've read that Furmark can cause a lot of heat. Make sure to set a custom fan profile in your oc tool (precision) and make sure you're fans are spinning up when the temp rises. You should try something like unigine heaven benchmark or futuremark11 to stress test as well as they'll give you a better idea of what temps you can expect when gaming. Which leads to the best test of all, try a few games out and check the temps. 98C is way too hot to be running for anything more than a bench mark (even though I've read they downclock themselves at 95C), don't fry that thing bro!

somethings wrong i do furmark @ 950/1900/2200 and my temp only hit 88C with 100% fanspeed

Wow, they are some real hot temps! What case do you have? how many case fans? I run furmark at 950/1900/2400 @ 50% fan speed (set to the silent profile on the GPU) and temps never go over 60-62c with the MSI 448

Which drivers should I install for my EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores Classified? The ones that came on the CD or something else?

How do you get such low temps with such an overclock?
what's your ambient (room temp)
