My lil antec 300 illusion does just fine ty :-) I'd love to get a fullsize atx here in the next half year or so...possibly when ivy bridge comes out. Gets kinda cramped in mid size atx cases with these newer cards and psu's. need oxygen..cant breathe...need air

here's last bench of the night. seems she's hit her max that I'm comfortable with. 338

I overclocked my card pretty heavy the first day I got it to test it out, but now I'm running it at 880/2150 at it's default 1.025 voltage. It plays games great at this setting and I don't plan on running any more benchmarks.

I ordered the MSI 448 yesterday. I expect it on tuesday since I am 1 day UPS from the Egg's Memphis warehouse. I noticed that they put the Iron Egg, price drop of $10.00, and free shipping on the EVGA Classified. I was torn on the MSI and Classified. MSI seemed to have the better cooler so it was worth the extra to me. Upgrading from a GTX 280 I got in May 2009, so I was due.

Will report my stock vtt when I get the card in. Thanks for the thread.

I heard the 448 core is loud at idle, more so than the 560 TI standard. Any truth to that? Also how does the card seem to be doing with BF3 at 1920x1200?

Please please do come back and tell us about your card. I hope it overclocks well for you!

The 448 Classified can get loud if you're running synthetic benchmarks, but it's not loud at idle or during gameplay. As far as it's performance in BF3, I run most of the settings on Ultra except texture quality, because you really need a card with 2gb of ram or more for that on Ultra. Some will argue that but I like staying above 50fps. I also use 2x deferred AA and High post AA. My res is 1920x1080.

How do you find the VTT on your GPU? do you just stress it a little bit and check the reading on MSI Afterburner pretty much?

That was the reason I got the MSI as well.
Mine is coming all the way from Cali so it's gonna be a long wait to get it. Should have it Tues and will do some testing to see what it can do. Hoping it's not a dud since some can be but I at least expect it to run cool.
I'll do some benching with it and see how well it folds too.
