What is a good "safe" voltage?

Our cards are limited to 1.1v, and I think as long as your temps are under control, that is perfectly safe.

My card came with 1.063v default.

I'm pretty sure I'm stable at 850/1700/1950 @ 1.05v, so I think I'm going to go back to the default voltage and see what I can get out of it there.

As with any overclock, there is a point of diminishing returns, where the voltage required to achieve a desired clock no longer becomes worth it to me. That's the point that I generally stop.

Anyone running SLI how does it work? How much increase in performance have you seen?

my card is limited to 1.125v max (MSI version) my default vid is 0.975. Would 1.125v max be safe also with good temps?

Yes, I have the same card and maxed out the voltage slider to 1.125 to achieve 1.2Ghz on the core before it crashed. I ran it at 1.1v for awhile at 950 before I lowered it to 1.0 at load. I would say as long as temps are ok it should be good. I know we here stories of people burning there cards up because of to much voltage and usually not heat related but I am not sure what that threshold is.

Lucky!

There should be a sig for this club. I have no clue on how to make one.

Looks like you create a quote and add what ever text and emotes you want. Not sure what to do from there....biggrin.gif

How does this look? Now someone will have to save it somewhere on the first page or put a link to download it....

Here is the text to copy for it.

Sorry bout that. Figured I would keep the sig separate. Guess separating it does not matter.
