Driver reinstall luckily did the trick, probably got corrupted during the power shortage earlier, good thing it's grounded at least! thumb.gif

Currently using 940/2300 @ 1.081v but I need to run a longer test I think...

Play a game. That will test it and can be fun while doing it. Bring your memory clocks down some. 2300 is kinda high and the performance gain is very minimal if any. You will be able to go higher with the core/shader. Also for most 5% overclock on the memory is good, too much and it starts to be unstable. Also is that voltage at idle or under load?

You don't want to uninstall your current drivers in that way, just download and start installing the new ones you want to use and then select custom install and check "clean install", that will uninstall your current drivers before installing the new ones and also delete any non default settings in Nvidia control panel.

I have done tons of research on this driver crap and from what i have read these newer drivers cannot be uninstalled/installed like that anymore. It tends to leave parts of the older driver(s) and corupt the new one. Either way I am screwed because I can't install your way either. The only thing I can do is delete it and then it crashes and back to system restore. This really sucks and I hate having to reinstall windows again.

My MSI is the same, the default voltage is 0.975v and the max voltage allowed in AB is 1.125v. It has + 50mv on both the mem/aux voltages, but ive not had time to really test these and see if it increases overclocking/stability.

I seemed to hit a wall at 950MHz core no matter what I did so I just started increasing the memory instead and it seemed to be ok... will try upping the core/shaders with a lot lower memory clock and see if I can get her stable at 950Mhz. Also, I have seen a lot of people say they had considerable FPS gain by having a high memory as opposed to only core/shaders.

I run Heaven benchmark for a while and then play some modded Skyrim...
