Anyone know anything about these? I wanted to pick up a 2nd Classified for SLI just wondering what the difference is between the two cards.

Looks like way slightly higher stock clocks!!! Look at the memory clock speed....

NVIDIA
Core Clock:
810MHz
Shader Clock:
1620MHz
Stream Processors:
448 Processor Cores
Effective Memory Clock:
3900MHz

Also looks like they went back to a reference cooler too. Wonder if it is the same PCB. I bet they did this due the awesomeness of the MSI cards.....mad.gif

Just looks like slightly higher clock and rear exhaust fan instead of the rear/side exhaust.

Just a bit faster and exhaust fan. Still 6 phase and 8+6 power.

Does it really need the 8+6 power connection? How does MSI GTX 560ti 448 TFiii get away with having a 6+1 phase power system while relying on the standard 2x6 power pin connectors?

I thought the 2 extra pin was ground

I like the dual fan config better on the old classified edition. Looks cooler and more badazz. By the looks of the fans, it prolly runs hotter too.

The only difference i see is reference cooling, and slightly higher stock clocks which can be obtained by simply overclocking your card. Sure glad I snatched one for myself just recently right before it sold out. =P

Ok guys. Lets share our knowledge.

I am not a BIOS guru but I know how to flash a working BIOS onto a card.

EVeryone please download and install GPU-Z and upload your BIOS to techpower.

http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

For those skilled at modifying BIOS please work on the MSI GTX 560ti 448 TFiii card first. biggrin.gif Increase the voltage as much as possible. I need as much headroom on my voltages and clocks.

Lets see how fast these cards can go! thumb.gif

I was bored and played around with my card, an evga classy. Added some memory and VRM heatsinks and some MX-2 TIM. Only dropped about 1*C on the core, but it couldnt hurt to have the other chips be a bit cooler right? wink.gif I also changed out the reddish colored logo for a blue film. and covered the red stripe with some blue vinyl tape.
