And if you're upgrading your phone you miss out on deals like this. Pretty lame of Google to prevent you from purchasing.

What are you talking about? Android Market is Google Account based. IT should work on any device with a known Google account setup on it.thumb.gif

Hrmmm, BUT if you make the purchase on your phone it should transfer over to any other device with known account.redface.gif

If they don't have a Android device which is compatible, Google doesn't let you buy the app I believe. Luckily I got loads of google accounts associated with my old phones and tablet. I still purchased the apps even though I don't have the intention to return to Android anytime soon.

You misread what I said... meaning if you want the app just grab anyones android phone and just put his account into it and Download away...His purchase should then transfer to any other device.

What am I talking about? Are you blind? Look at the image again and figure out why Google won't let me purchase apps on that account... Wallet has nothing to do with this.

What are you even using?

If thats a tablet and it won't work with the same Google account then that is something I have not ventured into, but now you have me making assumptions about what you own when you could have just said it yourself.

You left a really broad answer for me to work with, just trying to see if I can help you.... other then that Root and get for free. Done lol

Why are you asking what Android device I have? The picture and I have already stated that I don't have one on that account. The point is that Google shouldn't be preventing people from buying apps just because they don't have their phone in hand yet or are in the middle of a replacement leading to missing out on deals like this. You don't have to have an iPhone to buy from the App Store in iTunes.

In order to download apps from the Android Market, you need to have the
Android Market already installed on the device. Accessing the "Market"
icon is the only way to register your device on Android Market.

If your device doesn't come with the app named "Market", then it's not
compatible with Android Market at this time,

If it doesn't work with my HTC Aria, it will most likely let me download it on my HP TouchPad. thumb.gif
