Need to RMA my H100

The fan speed selector doesn't seem to be working the fans are always running at 2100rpm no matter what mode it is in... Actually I should the fan (singular) one of the fan stopped working after a few min (even tried plugging it straight into the mobo).

How did I luck out enough to have two problems with a Corsair product (I would think highly unlikely)? There doesn't seem to be any sings of physical damage and my unit is also not from the "recalled" lot a while back.

I also tried to reset the firmware as described in this thread but had no luck.

Do you think I would be better off doing a RMA through Corsair or Newegg? I'm thinking about explaining my situation to Corsair support because I don't want to loose my chance for the Black Friday MIR, but Newegg may be faster.

I will say that the product did seem to do a pretty decent job cooling even with only one fan... can't wait to get a working unit.

EDIT: Opps sorry I'm not sure this is the proper location

That 2100 rpm you are seeing is actually the pump speed and it doesn't vary much. It should be around 2000 rpm at all times (+/- 10% error which would put it within your stated speed) regardless of the setting. The button on the pump only controls the fan speed. The fan not working is another story. I would definitely try calling Corsair and explain that 1 fan has died and see if they can exchange just the fan instead of RMAing the entire unit to reduce downtime.

Alright my bad, I gues you would be right about the pump speed. However I can certainly vouch for the fact that the fand speed are not changing at all when I switch from low two high so I still have a problem there. I also tried heating up the CPU with Prime95 and then trying to change fan speeds but still no difference.
