Here is how its sitting right now.

UPDATE 3/31/12

Finally got the res yesterday! Mounted it up and all that's left is install the waterblock on the 580 and finish the tubing. Then onto leak testing and if all is good install the OS and start overclocking. hoping to be up and running tomorrow.

Sorry for the ****ty cell phone pic, misplaced my SD card for my real camera.

Build looks pretty good. thumb.gif
I love my evga gtx 580 hc2 cards... and temps are great for me. I have the Asus MIVE-Z board also... and I like it... and the funny thing is I had a EVGA z68 board too... which I returned for the MIVE-Z. Only kept the MIVE-Z board because I had the EK mips WB for it... but I prefer EVGA because of their customer service... and they are only a little over an hour away from where I live. Both are good boards, so you can't go wrong with either... but I kind of wish I went with EVGA because if I have issues... I know I would have great customer service. I finished my build within a month... so you have a good chance finishing by mid to late January.

x8 Bits Power Compression Fittings

Those Bits Power Compressions are kinda expensive. Didn't occur to me how expensive each Bits power compression cost until I compared the cost to barbs, but compressions look way better. I'm hoping to find some used Bits power compression, but judging by how fast they sell on these forums I'm not optimistic.

They are expensive. I spent a lot on my build, but the bit's power compression fittings were the one thing that I made me eek.gif when I looked at the total in my shopping cart. I ended up with 3 extra, but I'm sure I'll use them in the future.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the EVGA board. I have an x58 SLI LE and love it, never had any issues with it. Plus like you said, their customer service is excellent.

It'll probably work, but I saw that the specs for the EVGA board are 16GB max, meaning it may not like those 8gb dimms.

Looking really good so far, but I see a few things that dont make sense. Why are you only going to use a Single 360, wouldn't it be easier to just plumb the system in so all you need to do is add the second 580 and a bridge?

As well that 350 Might not be strong enough. I am using Dual Laing DDC 1Ts on mine with the XSPC Top, but you might want to look at http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_201&products_id=31420

Using a Kill-Coil with an EK block is a recipe for disaster right now. I would just use the EK block with some Mayhems Biocide found @ http://www.mayhems.co.uk/ . They ship really quickly, and are very reliable. The Dyes are amazing as well, their small bottles will last you through many many builds.

Other than that, it is looking really good so far mate. What are you going to use to control the fans? Pumps? Etc?

Have you looked at the AquaComputing Aquaero? Power Adjust 2 for Pumps? All of this can control fans as well, but I am using a Lamptron FC because I am tying the banks of 3 120s together on my build for the M8.

Just some things to consider.

Frozen cpu is actually the cheapest I've seen for fittings lately, and use the promo code pcapex when you check out takes 5% off everything in the cart.
Other sites tend to hook you with low prices then crush you insane shipping costs making it more expensive.
