As well that 350 Might not be strong enough. I am using Dual Laing DDC 1Ts on mine with the XSPC Top, but you might want to look at http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_201&products_id=31420
Using a Kill-Coil with an EK block is a recipe for disaster right now. I would just use the EK block with some Mayhems Biocide found @ http://www.mayhems.co.uk/ . They ship really quickly, and are very reliable. The Dyes are amazing as well, their small bottles will last you through many many builds.
Other than that, it is looking really good so far mate. What are you going to use to control the fans? Pumps? Etc?
Have you looked at the AquaComputing Aquaero? Power Adjust 2 for Pumps? All of this can control fans as well, but I am using a Lamptron FC because I am tying the banks of 3 120s together on my build for the M8.
Just some things to consider.

Yeah I guess that does makes sense. I'll add another 360 rad in there to make it easier later. As for fan controllers, I forgot to put them in the the OP too, I plan on getting 3 Lamptron FC6s. Also, can you explain why EK blocks don't play nice with kill coils? I thought Distilled water + killcoil was much better than biocide or coolants. And for the pump controller, I had no idea I needed one or knew that existed..lol.

For my understanding, with the Nickel plated EK blocks, the silver killcoil in the loop somehow causes the nickel plating to flake off the thin areas.

The Mayhems Biocide is used in such a small amount since it is the most concentrated there is with so little carriers that adding 2 drops per liter (i think) it does not really effect anything.

those evga water blocks and water block + card are really expensive. If you need to save a little cash, ek and koolance has some 580 waterclocks that i really like and they are a good bit cheaper that cool the same

Oh I see, I'm not getting the nickel plated one though. I heard all those horror stories about the nickel plated ek blocks so I'm just getting the Acetal version of the Supreme HF with the copper base.

On thing you should check for on your 580's, if you are installing WB's... is if you have the heat spreader on the chip. There are GTX 580's that are getting shipped out without the heat spreader, which is needed when installing WB's. There is a whole thread on this issue:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1119053/evga-gtx-580-water-block-help

This is one of the main reason's whey I went with the EVGA GTX 580 HC2 cards that had the water blocks already installed. I believe EK sells heat spreaders if your cards are missing them..

Ah very nice, those will work wonders on the 580s. Dont forget to get the passive backplate for the cards however. I would really look into some EK blocks instead of the EVGA blocks, or a HydroCopper card. Erayser did have a point with them being expensive. You can do a full coverage option for under 150$ on a card.

I had no idea about this. Thanks for the heads up. I hope I'm not affected.

I'll look into the EK blocks, but the one reason I kind don't like the EK blocks is the exposed PCB on the end. It's a stupid thing I know but for some reason the look bothers me.rolleyes.gif

Do you know if the EVGA backplates are compatible with the EK blocks? I already bought one for the one 580 I have.

technically no, but you can make them fit without any modification just like with the koolance blocks. Just has to do with whether you use a washer or not in certain places.
