Ear bud recomendations

Thread Starter
I am looking for a pair of ear buds that:
http://www.overclock.net/forums/threads/full_editor/posttype/newthread/fullpageid/294#
1. is under $50
2. Has some sort of mechanism that keeps it in the ear
3. sounds half way decent

I have a problem with ear buds staying in my ear. Every type I have tried falls out. Someone gave me a pair of Urban Ears a while back they didn't sound all that great but they stayed in because they had a little piece at the top that kind of kept them in my ear. (picture shown)

335

Unfortunately I lost them at some point doh.gif and I don't want to pay $40 since they didn't sound that great. I am not looking to get perfect studio sound quality just something half way decent to listen to music on my iphone on the train, and when I am working out etc.

EDIT: I may have put this in the wrong place if I did can the mods move it please.

I have the same problem. Try sony MDR-AS40EX. They come with thin little clips that go behind the ear to keep them in place (The clips are soft, adjustable, and removable)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826159246&Tpk=MDR-AS40EX.

Do they sound good? My shelf speaker system has x2 6" 60 watt subwolfers (also Sony), and these Sony earbuds have a deeper, stronger, clearer base than my shelf system.

Wallmart sells them for $50. Newegg had them for $40 but now their $26.99.

Also,
1.) they come with a nice carrying case.
2.) They headphone cable comes in x2 pieces so it's easy get a custom length.
3.) x3 different size earbuds with x3 different size removeable clips to keep them in place.
4.) It comes with another clip to attach the cord to your clothes.

:-)

You want some bright female vocal sound or something with bass such as dubstep? That'll pretty much determine if you pick either balance armatures or dynamics in this price rage.
