Suggestions Regarding $600 Budget Build

Thread Starter
I'm building a gaming rig for a friend of mine.

Budget $600

This is what I came up with:

Cooler Master Elite 310
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002XIST1Y/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A2NG4HB43UEDVL

Corsair Builder Series CX V2 430-Watt
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004W2T2TM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

EVGA GeForce GTX 560 1024 MB GDDR5
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0050I1PHO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&m=AZ8ZZL30AH7DI

Asus 24xDVD±RW Drive
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0033Z2BAQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 GB
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00461G3MS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1600MHz
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004HZG4ZO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?ie=UTF8&m=A1YAK8U7QV5H1E

EVGA P55 Micro SLI Mainboard
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002N2Z05I/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A2H17L68NV5JRM

Intel Core i3 Processor i3-540
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0031M9QZ4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_8?ie=UTF8&m=A1XBPHGHAXLHDG

(I buy on amazon because I live in Cali and tax kills us on newegg)

He says he's going to be gaming at 720p. I set this thing up for 1050p - 1080p gaming because he will move on in the near future.

Please give suggestions!

H55 mobo does not let you overclock...

If you are not going to OC then I suggest an H67 mobo and core i3 2100.

If you want a really decent and not too expensive mobo get on EVGA.com and look at their B-stock for the P55 SLI mobo since I believe it is 89.99 then you can overclock that 540.

Hope this helps.

Here's what I would change:

i3 2100
MSI Mobo
CM Case

So you get a much better CPU and the case is like $20 cheaper including shipping from the CM store.
