Yeah, the only company who releases finished PC exclusive games and is the most successful doesn't value their customers... The fact that they beta their games for 6 months proves they value their customers broski. Blizzard is a HUGE driving force behind the computer gaming market, without it we would not be nearly as far as we are today.
I think the general gyst was that it really takes nothing for Blizzard to throw out some favors to long-term, steady customers. (read: 7 year WoW subscriber) It isn't a radical concept. Hell, they even use beta invites for the next expansion as a lure to get people to commit to another year of WoW. Giving perks for repeated patronage isn't only magnanimous, but savvy for cementing client loyalty. Blizzard might be making great games, but their public image has taken a serious hit within the past year and half or so.
