People always seem to go down this path. It's not dumbed down, it's been taken into a smarter direction. Diablo 2 wasn't any harder, sure you had to put points into stats and skills, but in the end everyone would just google the cookie cutters specs and copy them. 1 point into each pre-req then dump the rest into your main skill. And with stats, enough points in strength and dexterity to wear your gear and dump the rest into stamina. It really wasn't any harder, with D3 the development team took a step in the right direction. Allowing you to choose any skills you want, and making them all viable makes for a way better playing experience. Rather than copying a cookie cutter spec and casting frozen orb 999,999 times over.
I always find it funny that people complain no matter what. If the development team does nothing new, people complain that this is the same rehashed crap with nothing new. If the development teams adds in new things, people complain that its not the same as the old one.Edited by antonr90 - 12/7/11 at 3:06pm
