I just got an h80. I have a phenom II 1090t at 4.2ghz running prime 95 for about 20 mins now. Core temp shows a max temp of 43C. Speedfan shows core at 43C, but shows cpu at 60C. Temp1 also is the same at 60C. Which one do I trust?...

60c seems to be the correct one, for a load temp. 43c seems a little low for a load temp while using prime.

50-60*C is normal for full load temps on a H80. You're good.

for an amd chip? how is that cool?...everywhere I look, people are saying 62C is max operating temp for 1090t. With my hyper 212+ i was getting around 58C max temp at 4ghz, I figured h80 woulda got me to 4.2 pretty well, but comp just shut down after about 30 mins of p95
