QcK worn down?

Fixed, thx OCN!

_____________________________________________

It seems to me that my QcK is worn down. I thought it was just dirty, but I've tried wiping it off with water or completely soaking it and there's still a HUGE bright spot. Besides the bright spot, it seems the cloth is simply worn down in the middle if I look very closely. Will this be my laptop mouse pad from now on?

Bright spot:
450

You could try cleaning it with water and soap. But to be honest, it shouldn't really affect performance or anything. And wear is expected... I mean is like a $10 mousepad, right? Not much you can do about it.

You can put a QcK in the washing machine, best way to wash it imo.

Try soaking it completely in non-hard water, then put some detergent on it and rub around with your palm. Then rinse thoroughly and let air dry between 2 lowels. Worked wonder for me.

No it won't. Unless it affects your tracking.
Besides, many gamers like their soft mats broken-in.

I started to get a white spot around where my wrist sits on the QcK. I just rotated it 180 degrees to use the other side. It didn't really affect performance for me though unlike when a hard pad starts to get worn down. I just assumed it was fading of the dye on the cloth.

Mine also had a spot almost identical to yours so I tossed it in the washing machine and it came out looking almost brand new thumb.gif
