[work log] Pops Antec 900 mod: Beginner so help!!!!

Hey everyone I've been commissioned by my pops to build a computer, so I decided to assemble everything in an Antec 900 case that was gifted to me a few months back. I've already ordered all the parts so that's settled, but I'm always open to suggestions. So far the motherboard, ram, and everything else is themed blue and black.

So here is what we are starting with

As you can see it's dusty

real dusty!

The first thing this will need is a massive cleaning and disassembly. BTW does anyone know what I can use to remove the rivets and push them back in with?

Yes I'm missing one front bezel piece. Does anyone know where I can find one for cheap?

Can someone point me to article that shows how to remove this top bezel. I'd appreciate it!!!

luckily these are screwed on, so taking off the window should be easy for cleaning.

So my plans for this case is to disassemble it and repaint the interior to black. Before painting I also want to cut holes for some cable management and possibly a hole for easy access to a CPU cooler, since I will be running a closed loop watercooler.

I was thinking of adding some more blue led's or light strips as well, but I haven't decided yet. So does anyone else know of any easy mods I can do on the cheap?

I figured I could mention the components being used here and post the final pictures here when everything is completed.

Antec 900 Components:

1. AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 6 Core Processor 2.8GHZ Socket AM3
2. ASUS M5A97 AMD970/SB950 ATX AM3+ DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 Motherboard
3. Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 XMP Dual Channel Memory Kit
4. Coolit Systems Eco CPU Water Cooling System
5. HIS Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR3
6. Oldskool Antec 550 watt PSU (would like to rewire and sleeve it, but I'm not sure how to do that since it's not modular)
7. Antec 900 case (obviously blinksmiley.gif)

TY so much.... Yeah I haven't had the time to work on it, but this weekend I should be disassembling it to cut and paint. I don't know if I would have found those screws without that guide.

The rivets will need to be drilled out using a small bit and then replaced with new ones using a rivet gun. You can pick up a decent gun and rivets for under $10 in some places and it's a worthwhile investment if you plan to continue modding down the road.

Got links? I was looking in Harbor Freight the other day, but most of the rivet guns were sold out because of big sale.
