Help, WIn 7 for SSD

Thread Starter
I am currently building a new computer as I type this but I am going to re use the HDD that I am using right now on this computer. Before I take out my HDD and this computer is no longer functional I need help on how to wipe my HDD clean. I want to wipe it clean so it's usable for my new computer I am building. BUT I want to install Windows 7 to the SSD. How (in the easiest steps) do I do this?

You can format the HDD in the other system upon installation of the OS, so it will be cleaned then anyway.

Yeah, I know how to do that whenever I reformat my computer and reinstall windows but this time an SSD is involved and the OS is going on the SSD. Does that change anything?

Ok so,

1)Take HDD out of current PC
2) Put SSD and HDD in new PC
3) Put Windows 7 disc in
4) Install Win 7 to SSD
5) Reformat HDD

I don't know about step 5.
