Skyrim and random mouse and fps latency problems

Hey guys/girls,

I scowered the interwebs looking for a fix to this problem but could not find anyone with the same one nor bethesda having a patch

My problem is; While i am enjoying my game of skyrim with no lag problems and no deficiency problems a lovely little mishap will happen.

The game will for no reason or warning will become sluggish with mouse speed (so from very responsive to pretty much unbearable mouse lag). and slight lag problem when looking at large groups of textures. and will randomly go out of it within a few hours regardless of restart. But this time nothing has changed and things are still unresponsive.

This game ran amazing untill this happens.

Before this, the game has no problems and can be played with no disruption.

CPU: AMD phenom 2 x4 965
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 msi
MOBO: asus Sabortooth 990fx
700 watt power
Corsair vengeance 2x4GB for ram
64bit windows7

I run skyrim at 1920 x 1080
everything on high except vsnc is off and, anti aliasing is off

I hope someone has had the same problem but resolved out there.

P.s. I have changed the mouse acceleration which helped untill it happened again and tryed the 4GB override method which also didnt help whatsoever.

Thanks in adv! smile.gif

it seems that the game is fine on first start up after a computer restart but after a min or two, the game hiccups for a moment and the mouse lags

Are you sure the mouse acceleration hasn't changed back in your Skyrim prefs ini file in your Documents>Games>Skyrim folder? If it has gone back to =1 change it to =0 and save file right click mouse properties and set to read only. Before that try enabling Vsync and Triple Buffering in Nvidea control panel seen as lots of people have had strange issues when disabling it. You will need to run the game using 4GB Skyrim if you are using any graphical enhancement mods like Skyrim hd 2k for example.

I have this plus, the vertical dpi will randomly drop like a brick.
After a restart however all is fixed.
