Sharing it digitally or burning someone a mixcd is the same thing. You're not a criminal for making a mixtape for a friend. When has anyone ever gone to jail for that?

There are plenty more cases if you Google it. Torrent have always been illegal and will continue to be.

You linked to zero sources of anyone going to jail over sharing a mixtape as I asked. Try again.

That's not what you asked. You are trying to justify illegal downloading to be as harmless as a mix tape. Well your wrong, just ask all those the RIAA went after.

Torrents are not illegal. Are you saying if I downloaded freeware via torrent, that's illegal? Learn your internet terminology. With every post, you look more and more moronic.

There have been cases in which people have been arrested for having copied CD's in their cars, due to not wanting to damage the original.

You are as clueless as you are brainwashed.

Really name calling again? How about you look up at the past few pages and learn that we are talking about illegal downloading. Nobody once ever mentioned a thing about freeware. This thread is about copyrighted material. Megaupload, torrents, warez, newsgroups no matter how you download the content, its illegal to obtain by any means. This guy wanted proof of people going to jail over file sharing, which he tried to justify as the being the same thing as a mixtape. He got said proof, people are going to jail over it.

Did you or did you not say torrents are illegal? This discussion has, as far as I care, come to an end with you proving you have no idea what you're talking about and are just bleeting corporate propaganda and lies. I hope you're one of those getting paid to troll websites and forums, because I am having a hard time believing you'd be willfully ignorant to this degree.

You stated torrents are illegal. That is false.
You were asked to provide proof of people going to jail for making mixtapes for friends. You did not provide any examples.

What is your point in posting here then?
