Corsair A-50 LGA2011 compatible?

Hey guys,

Question in title, getting one temporarily while my H-100 is RMA'd. Site i bought it off said it was compat, but just checked corsairs site and it says it isn't :S Anyone have any experience with it?

You know, some sites say it's compatible, some say it's not. Since you already own one the simplest thing is to try to mount it. If the mounting holes line up and can be tighten securely, then it's ok.

since it is compatible with the 1366 socket, it should mount 2011. you may have to buy an aftermarket 2011 backplate adapter to make it work.

For future reference to anyone wanting to mount corsair a50 on lga 2011 SB-E mobo it is compatible smile.gif

Just did it now, and getting a lot better temps than my faulty h-100 that's for sure!
