120hz Monitor.

Thread Starter
I am currently looking into getting a new monitor, and was wondering if there are any 120hz monitors that don't have glossed screens. If they don't make them, then what is the best 120hz monitor for gaming atm?

Very few use glossy screens actually, Samsung have a habit of doing that. I would take a look at the new BenQ XL2420T

Planar 2311W is the best matted 120hz out right now imo. 24" BenQ would be nice..but i've heard of QA issues with BenQ.

I would have to disagree with malikq86 as far as the planar. I own the 2311W and am not impressed with the 120Hz performance with fast paced games. It has known input lag issues. I get constant lag and stuttering when playing games @ 120. The only acceptable Hz for fast gaming with this monitor is 60. That would be fine for 3D gaming but unacceptable for 2D. That is with the DVI-D. I'm going to return it.mad.gif
