That does NOT sound right at all. Even the stock HSF shouldn't go over 80C if at stock speed. I'm guessing you didn't get the push pins all the way through the mobo....

I have seen this type of thing before, it is 99% of the time due to the HSF not being seated properly against the CPU and heat is being trapped, hence the temps... You will most likely find that the pins as others have mentioned are not pushed through their holes properly on the motherboard, those temps are insanely hot and I suggest you reseat, or better still replace the cooler with a Silverarrow.
