Only boots with 1 stick of RAM (Corsair XMS2)

Thread Starter
After I reset my BIOS settings, my computer won't boot properly.

It is running now with 1 stick of the XMS2 RAM (TWIN2X2048-6400C5DHX).

With two sticks, the computer will turn on and off quickly twice, and then it will just run the third time, but the screen won't turn on and no post either.

I tested the sticks and both of them work in both of the slots, but it will only boot properly if there is only 1 stick plugged in either slot.
I haven't been into my BIOS in a long time now, and haven't messed with RAM for an even longer time, so I can't remember how I got it working.

All help is appreciated thumb.gif

Edit: Plugged in my old Transcend RAM sticks, and the computer boots fine with both of them plugged in, but not with my corsair ones.

Common... Check the memory timing profile... They are probably not set properly... set them to the proper specs with one stick and try installing the rest... check your volts needed for the ram... what ram do you have(link?)... I can help more if I know that...

Edit: Altered the BIOS settings a bit, made sure it was 800 Mhz, 5-5-5-18.
Changed DDR2 OverVoltage Control to +0.1V, +0.2V, +0.3V, and changed the FSB and MCH to +0.1V but it still won't boot 2 sticks frown.gif

Model CM2X2048-6400C5DHX
Type 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM
Speed DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Cas Latency 5
Timing 5-5-5-18

Volts are 1.80V, which I think is default for my board.
