That was a lot of mis-information. Plus that survey has been shown very biased and you can't just assume since a biased survey done three years ago means shown that 50% of games were bought online that now it is 75% or more. The survey also did not account for any online purchases of console games from online retailers.
And your math...How do you sell an additional 75% of 500,000 to get 2 million? 500,000 + 75% = 875,000. You are making up about 1.2 million sales there. You can't just use some idiot blogger's made up numbers as facts either. My gosh...PC gaming is alive and healthy but the number of assumptions is nuts. The number logged onto Skyrim is only 15% and he is using the record setting number of 300,000 from release? it is a safe bet that on day one what ever number that is shown to be playing a game is going to be close to all of them. Wow...I'd love to get a pair glasses like this guy. Sure after a couple weeks and only 50,000 are logged into the game at anyone time you could assume a lower percentage, but not when there is 300,000.Edited by Vagrant Storm - 12/25/11 at 8:24am
