So apparently the XSPC Rasa GPU water block can only work with barbs. The XSPC Chrome Black Compression fittings I ordered do not fit on it. Also these fittings are super tight and rubbing each other on the new Raystorm CPU water block. I do not recommend trying to use compression(at least the XSPC ones) with the Raystorm or Rasa bocks.
That being said, I am using them on the raystorm but I had to resort to barbs for the rasa gpu.
In other news, before I left for work I checked on my loop. I started leak testing last night around 9pm and no leaks so far.....knock on wood. If all goes well I will start assembling everything into my case and making the necessary modifications. Tomorrow night I should be finished but here are some pics of leak testing and the components.
Awesome ghetto jumper wire to start psu outside case and hooked just to my pump(and some lights
Elite water cooling setup bench(aka dining room table with towels)
Lights OFF(should look better inside a case with less light pollution and a direct angle from the UV's)
New fans are FTW(Apevia UV and Green LED's pretty quiet)
Fitting the REs
Damn XSPC(had to use barb fittings on Rasa GPU, xpsc's own comp fittings wouldnt fit)
I will have alot better pics soon to come, these were all taken with my phone and just wanted to give you guys somethign to look at.
I will be assembling it tonight and I wont be finished until more sleeving and heat shrink comes in tomorrow and after that everything should be ok.
