Please Help X2 3800

Thread Starter
Hi Everybody

I've got a 3800X2 and Im running it at 2.4Ghz I would really like to get it to 2.6
Setting at the moment:
Manchester Core
HTT 4X
FSB 240
RAM 400 (with divider)
Vcore 1.45V

I got it to boot on 2.5 but fails prime immediatly. It crashes windows if I set it to 2.6Ghz. What do I need to change to go higher? Isn't 1.45V high already for 2.4G?

Please Help

Thanks

I did set HTT to 3X when I made the FSB above 250, but it didn't help. Must I give more volts to the cpu?

I have a Manchester core and it is a very un-happy overclocker and needs plenty of volts for it to perform in any descent way. Give it a little more Vcore and see how it goes then. As per usual, keep any eye on your LOAD temps.

Hasn't this already been asked?

Raise the vcore to .5+ the rated voltage...and post some results at 2.5GHZ.
