if thats stock then you have an xxx edition......i have one sold to me as a normal version 560core and 700 memory but the memory doesnt go any higher than 800 on mine, higher than that and my rig reboots, as these modules are rated 800 it would be wise to fit some heatsinks on them......

yes................ because its faster then a stock 7600GT and maybe has just a little more headroom then a normal one

And about the overclocking it is important to check the temperatures of the card under load

That load temp seems fine to me if you want cooler then get a VGA cooler for around 30 bucks a swell investment for OCing in any sense.

im not responsible for whatever damage......... i suggest you get some better cooling first, but if you really wanna do it now.....then you start to raise your core by few mhz and scan for artefacts, repeat till you have some and then take it down a few mhz.......repeat for the memory, and again i recommend to put heatsinks on them............after you know your max core and mem its time to raise em both.....till you find out the best balance

My 7600GT stock cooler covers the memory aswell as the core. But they aren't thermally bonded. Would it be a good idea to put some AS5 on my memory modules then install the heatsink ontop?
