Ok i just heard dual core is a must and now this? lol
Its at stock 2.0 Ghz, if its really worth it i could get this nice Epox high rated socket 754 board that OC's well and get it to 2.6 Ghz. But with only 512 l2 cache will i really be set?

The DFI board would overclock much better....

Chances are if you skimp on the board, you will either need to go to a better CPU(which cost's more) or dont plan to overclock much. A cheap board generaly yields cheap performance. My advice?? Save up some money to build a better upgrade, with at least a good board and CPU. If you cant afford something better at this time then do NOT upgrade.

If you want to stick with s754 than get the Epox board in my sig. It will give you SLI and has lot's of OC'ing features. I have loved it. I will be selling it next month if you will still be looking.

i love my epox board, i could hit 2.9 maybe 3.0ghz with a good cooler =) , the only thing it lacks is voltage options for memory. 2.8 is tops , but thats really not a problem.
