Hi guys please tell me the best portable music player having High quality Inbuilt DAC(High quality Head phone O/P) and Capable of playing Lose less audio files.

Consider i'm pairing it with Top grade In ear phones like Shure SE535..(Also suggest me some other head phones if you like)

Get a Sandisk Sansa Clip Zip or the original Fuze.

Don't fall for the snake oil that is the HiFiMan or other such needlessly expensive, ripoff contenders. The Sansa line sounds great, plays lossless and doesn't break the bank.

The Sansa line is also one of the few affordable options that have low output impedance, enabling impressive bass response with sensitive IEMs especially.

On a side note FLAC/lossless is a waste for portable use.

I don't know the specific model of the DAC inside, but whatever it is it makes me grin ear-to-ear with my JH13s. wink.gif

Sansa Clip+ is definitely a popular choice over at head-fi, but they can only hold so much. If you're looking to store more music, Cowon J series MP3 players are very good, high quality MP3 players. Significantly more than the Sansa, but also holds more, looks nicer, has more features etc.. Alternative to Cowon would be a Zune HD.

If you have a new smartphone, often times they have a decent DAC inside of them. My phone has a wolfson DAC that sounds pretty damn amazing for a phone. I would just buy an SD card, toss it in your smartphone and listen off there.

The Sansa Clip+ and Clip Zip (and Fuze FWIR) all have MicroSDHC card slots for expandable memory.

Cowon's newer players don't have expandable storage. I believe their D2 and D2+ did. The C2, S9 and J3 are limited to internal capacity. In effect, a Sansa with a 32GB MicroSDHC would have greater capacity than all but the 64GB models for cheaper.

The point of getting better quality mp3 players is not just that they have a better DAC consisting of less noise and more accurate playback, but are also treated with better amplification. You'd get the HiFiMan iff you want to drive powerful headphones from the player itself. JH13s are easy to drive, where a fuze is all you need.

For the more part, Fuze/Clip+ is great for an MP3. Try driving some 250 ohm impedance through the thing and you'd be left with less then what the cans can actually put out.

depends on how much you want to spend in total. The Sansa Clip+ / Fuze (original) is great bang for buck however others, such as the latest gen iPod Touch / iPad 2 measure better.

I doubt the differences would be meaningfully palpable, especially at 800%+ of the price.

Since the latter are really media devices/tablets that do much more than just play music, I don't think they're really in the same market.
