or the Bitspower RAM equivelant. I know they dont have Pins or fins so would the surface area be enough for a "cold loop" and "hot loop" ??

I don't see why it wouldn't work - I would give it a go if you have the parts, if you're buying the parts, I would be tempted not to bother as I doubt you'll get much better performance and you'll have to go through the hassle of condensation proofing

well with TEC you have to condensation proof either way, I was just wondering if this would be easier than designing my own heat exchanger for TECs.

Oh I thought you meant putting a tec only on the ram and cooling the tec with the ram waterblock.

Totally misunderstood. Short answer - yes I think it would work

I was thinking 2 loops, one cooling the components with the cold side, an another loop cooling the hot side of the TEC with a radiator.

I messed with TECs alot. The tough part of TECs is that the hotside makes massive amounts of heat. You could try but the hotside may override any cooling from the cold side.

I thought about this some more - how much power are you going to be transferring? The ram blocks aren't designed to transfer much heat, and so even though the tec to waterblock connection is good, the block to water delta might get very high. I think you'd be better off strapping two cpu blocks back to back with the TEC in between.
