Does water cooling work better in a Phantom NZXT than air cooling

The case is so big it seems like it would cost a lot of energy to cool it using water, and water cooling seems more effective for mid-sized towers. Does water cooling offer a big advantage over air, or a small one?

you don't watercool the case only the components cpu and gpu , motherboard if you so desire.
hard thing about the phantom is getting the rads in without having to drill or mod
