I presume you don't drink sodas, beer, or eat any canned food? Because, I mean, those surfaces come in contact with food. And yet, you're going to worry about a freaking MOUSE maybe raising your potential to be at risk for possibly being in a position to hypothetically earn a chance to develop some form of Alzheimers? Good god, man, get a grip.

We ingest a certain quantity of aluminum every single day, even if someone was intense enough to avoid anything in a can and replace all their cookware. It's in a bunch of food, medicine, aerosol products, etc. etc. There's no avoiding it, only minimizing contact. I have no idea why anyone is even mentioning this in regards to a mouse/keyboard.

All that mattered to me in the review is that his personal favorite mouse pad is a Steelseries. They are the best....

May I know why? Never used one before. And the sniper button is cool, but the mouse in general looks ugly but so do others in that category like G9.

For those who prefer accuracy over general swipe based gaming, they prefer lower dpi than high. A heavy mouse based on aluminium is terrible for lots of lift off. That's only one of the reasons some have issues with alu body.

Basically this, most low sensitivity players like very light mice like the WMO and the Abyssus because they don't require as much force to move around compared to a heavy mouse like the G500 and G9x. If you play with a high sensitivity it's probably not a big deal because you aren't moving the mouse around a lot but for those that use ~5"+ for a 180 then it's not ideal.

Not sure if serious. If not, disregard the following!

Inconclusive data about aluminum being linked to alzheimer's disease relates to people who are exposed to it in their workplace (inhalation, raw materials), or the quantities contained in food and drugs, so by ingestion. Having your hands resting near/on a finished brushed aluminum item is not the concern.

Why wouldn't I be serious? I'm certainly no doctor and from the point of a consumer I'd rather not purchase something that can potentially lead to health issues, especially when the research done on the matter has been inconclusive for over decades. "Might" lead to alzhimers is enough to put most people off, and I don't even know why Corsair used aluminum in the first place.

Don't get me wrong, I love corsair since I have their ram, heatsets, and cases, and I was going to buy their keyboard until I overheard such issues about aluminum, and this is especially a big no since most people will be touching it everyday unlike other aluminum products.
