I prefer more 1000Hz it's more stable on my pc than 500Hz.

Have you tried forcing the hertz with hidusbf?, for me on my ec1 evo it made the hertz rock stable on 500 (shows 510 in dimr, just as my IME 3.0 did)

I think this mouse shouldn't be forced to specified Hz.

Because take a look on 125Hz setting it's stable on 150Hz, because motherboard usb port is stable, on 500Hz and 1000Hz it's not stable so we should blame only the motherboard not the mouse.

If I remember correctly, centuries ago someone posted in the first few pages that max tracking speed is more consistent across all DPI levels when using 500Hz but was at it's max when using 1000Hz on 2300 dpi.

Thanks, I'll try it.

I just received my Zowie AM not too long ago, very good mouse indeed, and I want to ask what's the default usb polling rate for AM? 1000hz?

Default 1000hz, some say it performs better at 500hz at low DPIs with a tiny bit higher malfunction rate but I don't notice a difference

Btw guys try this:

  • Highest dpi 2300
  • 1000Hz
  • Plug it into a USB 3.0

Now go into paint. Less jitter? Is my PC or Zowie just weird or is there less jitter on USB 3.0?

It's possible, but please write me who will use 2300dpi in-games? smile.gif

I usually use the setting where the mouse has the highest max tracking speed to avoid any negative accell or skipping and just turn the sens down ingame, there's no reason not to imo with raw input.
